Very cool!! So I'm clueless when it comes to scorpions...where are these guys found? And what is their common name, if they have one?

Thanks :), their are 2 species of C. gracilas, the Florida ones and Central america ones. This is the CA species which is hotter then the Florida species. As far as common names go, not to sure dont use common names for scorps, to hard because many have more then one common name and so dont have a common name at all.

Thanks for the info! I understand the common name thing...heck with most tarantulas and herps for that matter, I'm much better with scientific names!

Yea but the problem with calling them bark scorpions is all Centruroides species are known as bark scorpions for a common name lol, see why common names are no good lol

Oh agree completely man, I was just saying.....you guys were wondering what common name they go by, so I provided it for you. You're right though scientifics are a much better description especially for Scorps.
