Thanks everyone!!
Brad - 5 of these are new since you visited. And the snake you mentioned is supposed to a Durango Mtn king.

HMMMM...interesting!! Well I'll have to look further into it. Heck the price was right so I couldn't pass it up! Wait I had no idea I was gettin it...bid on some snakes (I didn't even know what they were) at the Tinley auction and won! That's how I got it!!

Ahhhhhh, yeah I don't know man.....but it sure as hell looks Thayerie to me, could be wrong, I'll have to check into to it too. LOL

Found this after a quick search about thayeri:
This species along with L. mexicana mexicana, L. mexicana greeri, and L.alterna are in question as to their validity and until this can be cleared up from the taxonomic perspective there will continue to be some confusion regarding the actual classification of these animals. Stay Tuned !!
I'm still gonna look though!

Hmmmm, so basically could all be the same?
So the Durango Mt. part....could be just a local? Well you got me curious now...LOL
~B~
Guess so...apparently they are the same species but classified as different subspecies. Honestly I've never looked into them!
