In the 10 gallon he was pushin 3 foot already(didnt have a bigger tank at the time), but yeah, hes ate regular meals, havent pushed him, but his growth has slowed down now, he barely grows at all, lol

nice then and now man good deal are you still using the mulch if so how is that working i never really liked it to much...just looking for info for others who may be interested.

First, let me say thats a nice looking burm.
Sam, I use mulch in my home made tank because it hold humidity better than anything else. I dont think the snakes care for it as much as other beddings though. Its also hard to tell when a smaller snake pooed. It is easy to change but a bit bulky

i use to use it because of the humidity thing but my snakes all get huge and it takes a lot of mulch so i just switched to paper not as pretty but a whole lot easier. i was just curious is all

Naw, once they move out of a 20 gallon i dont use mulch anymore. For him his cage is done with ceramic tile on the floor. I just lay it in there with the flexwatt under neath it. It holds heat really good and actually allows it to expand throughout the floor. The only thing i keep on the mulch is my retic, my conda, and my savannah monitor. Everything else is on tile
