I don't see why not! It is a sport!
I have done quite a bit of hunting and fishing myself.....I like Pheasent and Grouse hunting a lot.
Deer hunting every once in awhile. That's a mighty fine trophy you tagged yourself there!

My husband likes to hunt. In fact he wants to move back to Idaho so he can go hunting I guess it is easier to hunt there than here in Texas because he has been here 11 years and has not been hunting once but we have been fishing. One of his friends from Idaho just sent us four pounds of deer meat we took to the processing place yesterday to be made into Jerkey. So I think that is teasing him into wanting to go hunting too.

I used to hunt a lot. Now I just go squirrel hunting since I live in a wooded area and they eat pecans off my trees. I like to go rabbit hunting with a bow, it's very challenging.
Do you bear hunt? I'm looking for someone that does because I am wanting some bear paws to make pouches and a necklace for myself. I don't feel the need to kill one myself just for the paws so, if anyone hunts them for food I would rather just get them that way.
:fencing:
Sorry,
I haven't gone bear hunting,
Brad, I agree if you hunt, Do it for the meat. I had to turn in a Cow Elk tag I had for this year. I broke my Pelvic on Vaca this year.
So I was not able to do the hiking I needed to for the hunt.
Next Oct. Look out. LOL
I feel for you Nick. I hope you get better!

The only thing I've hunted was the wood stand-ups of animals, but one day I would like to. I guess the guy who used to have my bus did a lot of bear hunting & would haul them around in the back, but I put in a sofa back there so I can't exactly carry back my trophies right now...
Well this is the deer I took with my bow this year. You can tell I wasn't out for Horns...LOL
It was a VERY long day of hunting and I said. The next deer I see at 40 yrd I am taking it.
Well that was this was the next deer.
