I used to see these guys daily when I was very young. Still see em often enough around here during the summer, but they aren't as common as they used to be.

Awesome copperhead! Where SnakeGirl and I live they are ever where. :smile: A while back I got a call at 2 AM, a buddy wanting me to come get a snake out of his bathtub, ( He lived in a old farm house). I got there and it was a copperhead. I caught it and relocated it. Anyway, a fun night. :lol:

My favorite venomous! Copperhead right? I can never really tell them apart except that a Southern (I think) has more of an autumn color?

Indeed it is! They are pretty neat aren't they. Yeah Southerns and Trans Pecos Coppers are more rusty and reds......we think these are Osage Locals, but they could be a Integrade between an Osage and Southern too.

They are just cool, that's all I know! And look at those big ol' eyes!!! Beautiful! LOL

Sorry I really like them.
