So as the title suggests, my burm just shed today. How long should I wait to feed him?

I've looked around on the net for the answer, but I couldn't find anything related to burms, just BP's and other snakes.

You can feed anytime after a shed typically. The only factors that would make it not a good idea would involve husbandry. If temps were an issue and the burm was impacted to a certain extaent(hasn't pooped, and appears bloated/swelled or very full). Or the shed didn't completely come off and a soaking needs done to get it all off.

But if its normal as far as defication, full shed and all; go for it. :)

Most will feed very soon after a shed. There are some that may not, but not to worry. As long as they eat within a few days or so all is well. If they dont, other factors may need looking into like husbandry/caging changes, etc(temps) that one may not have known came about.

is it bad to just pull off the shed if theres just like a tiny piece left on the tail, i was gone when my boa shed, and my dumb ass brother in law thought he'd step in even though he knows nothing about snakes, and pull it off, theres nothing wrong with my snakes skin or anything, just wondering

As long as its 'AFTER' the the snake attempted to shed on its own. As Sam stated some are really hungry after a shed, so just watch out for that if pulling the shed off manually.;)

sweet thanks dude, my boas never bit me yet, even when he's really hungry, but i think he's abnormally docile, thats why i love him

We actually have a couple that will eat while they are in full blown shed!!

They always act likes they're starved b/c they know you'll feed them.
