View Full Version : i was a busy guy today

well got the incubator done and started work on the garage.we are closing off half for the snakes we have the framing up now all we need is the sheetrock and insulation(tomarrows project)

the neat thing about the divider in the garage is it is self suported there are no screws or nails into any of the existing walls or concrete we cut the 2X4s to fit tight and then screwed them to each other so this wall is 100% removable with no damage to the house..... here are some pics the side with the incubation station is the side the snakes will be on the other is were the normal garage stuff will be..

So how big of an area is it you are going to 'block off' for the snakes? Looks good so far. I like how you made this and it is removable if you decide to sell the house. Very nice!

the area is about 12X16 i believe i know it is 12feet 9inches wide i will measure the other today it is a lot bigger than the extra bedroom we have as the snake room now

Thats about the same point we are at. The snake room is about full.

I like the idea of being able to take the new wall down in the future without damaging the rest of the walls.

Ha ha who puts cars in the garage? Very innovative use of space :-) I like it!
