OK so watching college football and seeing that #1 and 2 lost and them saying last night they wern't sure who should play in the title game, and seeing who is playing today what are your thoughts on the system? For the first time ever there is a 2 loss team playing in the BCS title game. And the ONLY undefeated team in College is not their opponet?!? I'm by no streach a Hawaii fan, but they are 12-0. Do I think they can hang with Ohio state?? Not my point, they are undefeated, and not in the big game. So just curious of the college football fans, what are your thoughts? I think the BCS System is broke, but not sure how to fix it. A penny for your thoughts.......

To me the BCS screwed this call up. I can see why Hawaii isnt in the National Title game. Yes they are undefeated but they didnt have any hard teams to play. If you look at the points system from the season then technically it should be Ohio State and Georgia in the National Title game. Not LSU. If Mizzou and West Virginia had one then their average for the year would have been higher than Ohio States. So either way, i dont agree with the BCS this year.
They looked at who was in the championship games and won compared to who had a better year and more points. Just my thoughts
There is so many different opinions on what should be done its insane, lol. A undefeated team has to be deserving of something. Maybe they need to toggle and oofset schedule to even the strength of each schools opponents throughout. That way it isn't left up to opinions and is based on performance period on a more equal schedule per school.
That or have a a two teir system like European soccer? Though schools are in the same division or conference as others. If they are not as strong of a team, make them inprove and earn their way up to the next teir to strive for the championship and a bowl. In turn, if one year a former powerhouse duds out, they go down to the lower level. Giving a lower teir team a chance to move up. Just a thought, though i'm not into college ball that much.
