Kina

Thought you might like to see some old pics of the Borneo I used to have. Kina was the sweetest snake but sadly passed away about 6 months ago to a chronic mouth rot infection, which was later diagnosed as granulocytic sarcoma, a type of snake leukemia that manifests in the bone marrow. She was missing tissue on the left lip from a surgery to remove necrotic tissue, but I took all her pics from the right. In retrospect, I should have taken some pictures of the worst of her flare-ups so that others could see and know what to look for. But they were so awful looking, I never could bear to do it. Enjoy.

The last picture I took of her...from pretty far away. Again because she looked pretty bad at that point. She was going to the vet for her euthanasia the next day.

Thanks guys! Sorry that was so depressing. Yeah I miss her, she was a great snake. But I love my new little one. Ha ha that's right Brad, I forgot I sent that picture to you.

she sure was i remember that whole deal you tried really hard to beat that nasty stuff i know it sucks but you tried your best....
