She finally shedded!

Well i came home today and dinally i noticed my snake finally sheded,but the only thing is that its in pieces and i dont know what to do.What should i do?!,should i just keep soaking her till its off?

Pretty much, a clean soak and some helpful rubbing usually does the trick!

Start with checking the humidity in the cage.

As far as right now, I get a pan of water and a wash cloth and give the the rub down. Just gently rub and let her run through the wash cloth. Be patient. I acually think the snakes like it too.

LOL...nah just a night owl, that's all.

kahunadog makes a good suggestion though, normally snakes shouldn't have a whole lot of trouble shedding, what were you running the humidity at during the shed cycle? May be something you'll want to keep an eye on.

Well i just realized she wasnt done!should i just wait till the morning to see if i can help her out or just help her now?

By the way the humidity is 79% now and earlier it was about 70%.

Should always wait if you think they will do it on thier own, trust me they usually don't appreciate the help you offer..LOL
With the Humidity where it's at, you'll probably wake up to a nice clean freshly shed snake.....many of the larger pythons once they reach a certain size shed off in sheets instead of one full piece.
