Thanks man, yeah she's pretty neat! I've always liked Ts and Scorps...I used to have a rather large collection of them a few years ago.

Well it would seem that this particular ssp. of Ornamental Tarantula has a rather potent venom, with possible side effects listed anywhere from Nausea and Stomach Cramps to profuse vomiting and aches and pains.....personally I'm not a gambling man when it comes venom so she's pretty much exactly what her name implies....Strictly Oranamental...LOL She's very quick, and really doesn't have the best attitude anyway..LOL

That's one thing I've noticed with RKs they seem to go through these boughts as they Mature......not really sure what the deal is but they'll go off feed for awhile, then jump back on the train like nothing ever happened....one of the only species that I kept that ever did that consistantly, I often wondered if they were more sensitive to weather changes, seemdd like it always was around a major seasonal change when they pulled it.

At anyrate I'm sure he'll be back on in no time flat, as long as he's looking well rounded I wouldn't give it a second thought.

Yup that is one thing I'm not too worried about, he is plenty fat! Before he went on his fast he ate very well :-)
