Okay it is a good thing I have no life...

I had a major tstat failure today which put my breeding pair in 100 degree temps for 30 minutes. Their normal temps right now are 87 day and 80 night and both are in shed and separated due to refusal to mate anymore and I was ramping back up their temps over the next few weeks.

I have them on a spare stat now and they are back down to normal temps. My question is, has this messed everything up now? They have been paired since November and cooled since then.

I am just sick over this!

I also had to buy another stat in the middle of christmas shopping and put a rush on it. Merry Christmas me :/

A 30 min. Spike shouldn't do anything......more of a blip on the radar screen. Now if went hours or days....that could've been a problem in oh so many ways...LOL

I agree with Brad....shouldn't present any problems!! Best of luck with 'em!

Agreed, 30 minutes 'shouldn't' have done much; if anything.

I'm not really an expert but if the big boys say it should be fine it should be. I personally would try chucking the male a meal JUST in case he takes it. A little pick me up during the sex streak lol.
