Those are cool! Too bad I don't need them with my ball pythons. They wont' get big enough to use them. But my Borneo should get heavy enough someday. Are hooks more useful when lifting snakes of great length, heavy weight, or combination?

Hooks are pretty much just useful in many situations, I usually use mine to drag them out of the cage and let them know it isn't feeding time, or I have a few snakes around here that you just plain wouldn't want to get up close and personal with...LOL Always nice to have at least one around for those days when they get in a "mood" lol but yeah with BPs I could definitely see you not really needing one..LOL Bloods are tough to hook, almost need 2 hooks to support the weight, they are such massive snakes and they really don't "ride" all that well they just kind of lay there...LOL
