I've had rabbits thawing now for 2 days down in the snake room.
They were finally defrosted and it was time to put them in the cages.
Esmerelda's stomach must have thought that her throat was cut cause she came at this rabbit like nobody's business and lunged at me out of the cage.
She then circled back after the rabbit and constricted it while I was running out of her way like a little girl.

Just goes to show that care always needs to be taken, when food comes around the big 'uns. Esmerelda thought she was going to have a Phat Tony sandwhich instead of this rabbit.

LOL I have had some problems with that and the sliding doors. The next set of cages I want to try the doors that open down so the prey can be introduced without having to open the cage door as wide.

After having my hungry rescue move right past the f/t I had dangling in front of his mouth and come after me...I go with the slide, toss, run method. :D
