This idiot wrote a book excerpt: tale of two sanders. And he said Barry was OVERRATED!
What a crackhead.
You've give barry the 5 years longer that Emmit Smith played, and an offensive line half as talented for those years and Barry would of crushed every single record possibly.

Without a doubt! I mean Payton was great, so were many others. But even on the team he was. I feel he still would have blown the record away regardless. The guy had more moves than a ping pong ball, lol.

No kidding! I've seen all the videos on him running backwards (most backwords yards out of any back)
I wish Barry would of played another season or two.

If stats are stats, then Barry Bonds is the greatest baseball player to ever live. NOPE wrong!!!!!!!
Payton, Smith, and Brown all had o-lines....
Sanders stats.
10 Seasons, 10 Probowl games, 15269 yards (thats a 1520 avg a season), 99 rushing TDs(10 receiving), 3062 rushing attempts, averaging 5.0 yards a carry.
Smiths Stats.
15 Seasons, 8 Probowl games, 18355 yards(1230 a season), 164 Rushing TDs,(11 receiving), 4409 rushing attempts 4.2 yards a carry.
Paytons stats.
13 Seasons, 9 Probowl games, 16726 yards (1290 a season), 110 rushing TDs (15 receiving) 3838 attempts, 4.4 yards a carry.
Other than touchdowns in a career. No back has anything on Sanders. give sanders 3 or 5 more season. He would be over 20,000 rushing yards, and probally 5 more probowl selections as well.

My All time RB list whom I would take (in their prime)
1. Barry Sanders
2. LT
3. Walter Payton
4. The Bus (A leader, and good back)
5. Emmit Smith (sorry hes good, but his Oline was 2nd to no one!)
6. Jim Brown
7. Tiki Barber (man should not of quit in his prime) 4.7yds per carry
8. OJ Simpson
9. Terrell Davis
10. Adrian Peterson (so what this is early hes got the talent)
Peterson if he stays healthy 10 season from now will be in the top 10 statistic backs all time.

You also have to look at the team they were on and how much they accounted I mean say baseball you can hit 30 hrs a season for one guy and 30 for another guy but which hrs matter, when your up 10-0 in the 9th and you hit a hr compared to down 4-3 in the 9th thats also a thing you have to look at as well as in football who had bigger games not gains
LT he reminds me of Arod great in reg season but in the post season...
Sanders and payton are both just sick players all in all who meant more to the team
