help anyone how can we get rid of mites or ticks!!!!
my baby blood looks like shes being eaten alive!!

The easiest thing(IMO) to do quickly is get a tub with mildy warm water...not too hot. Put a drop or two of mild dishwashing liquid soap in it. Soak the blood for at least an hour or so. Check in it every so ften, at least 15 minute intervals.

Then clean the cage, change the substrate and any decorations. Bleach and water is good or listerine.

Then you can go to wal-mart and in the pharmacy there is Equate Bedding Spray its the same as Provent-a-mite in its ingredients. Use it to fog the cage with after its been cleaned and the water bowl removed of course. Let the cage air out after it sits fogged for a bit before putting the snake back in.

You can do the soaking again with a week. Thats what I've done when i had one come in with them. There are other methods, I just find this one simple and easy to do. :)

thanx so much. you know how it is w/ new babies. i get paranoid. we've never really had a mite problem like this before... we'll let u all know how it goes. thanx again.
