I receive requests all the time about my Vision racks. Recently I built another rack and this time I took a few pictures in the process.

The start of building the frame work -

Outside frame assembled -

Start placing the side drywall in place -

Installing the inside frame work after drywalling the sides. Also note that I drywall the bottom of the inside frame work. This will hold the insulation in place -

Heat pocket. This allows heating a larger area than the size of the Flexwatt -

WOW!! Nice looking setup you have there. I like the heat pocket idea.

Thanks guys. I find that this setup works out well for a cage that has little strength when stacked on top of each other. I prefer Vision cages even with their weaknesses. By using a rack/shelve it is easy to overcome the weakness and make stacking them practical. I only wish they made a larger cage.

Thats hardcore Jim.

From seeing Jim's racks in person I can say that these are built strong and made to last.

Decided to give the Herpstat a go? How are you liking it so far?

They seem like a nice unit. I like the different features. The night drop is something new to me. I have already purchased another one for a different rack. I'm pretty sure I will switch over from my primitive ways before the years end.
