Thanks much guys, glad you like them.
The "L" Style: $52.99 (Full PVC Coat Model)
The Hybrid "V" Style: $75.50 (Full PVC Coat Model) The extra cost comes into play with the Solid Core, and extra length on the shaft....well worth it though.

You should make a hook with Interchangeable heads (same shaft, but a monster head, L head, acrylic head, v-hybrid head) one ultimate hook for all species of snakes. I would buy one LOL

Indeed, the thought had crossed my mind. LOL
Problem 1 (the biggie) aluminum tends to seat together almost to well.....to the point of seizing up, so say you left one hookend in too long, and then wanted to try another....may end up threading out the shaft.
But I have been looking into it. I do most of my product development during the spring/summer when I can tinker without freezing my butt off...LOL

that would be a good idea, you'll just have to think up some way make the part where the 2 seat together not aluminum, or maybe just coat the aluminum with something, you can do it dude, im eager to see what you come up with for that 1

Order away....all the Jigs are inside for the standard styles.....new ones I have to make more jigs for which is why I wait till spring/summer. LOL

I missed this one.
Very nice Brad,, I like the Idea of 1 shaft. But, I have more then 1 room of snakes. So, I have more then 1 Hook..LOL which you already know..
You would make a Hell-a lot of money off of me with that plan. Let's see 3 hooks. 5 different heads.. LMAO!!!
Never mind.

LOL, yeah I hear ya there Jess, for people like us with larger collections I can see where it actually doesn't make much sense....personally I'd just rather grab and go instead of playing around with screwing in new hookends..LOL But the "break-down" travel hook may come in handy.
Too funny, hopefully I get some time this summer to put things together.
~B~
I can see where the break-down would be nice for travel. But, I don't need a hook once they are out of there cage,,:D ( most of the time):p
I am with you on the Grab & go thing,,LMAO!!!

Yeah I would have to agree, about 90% of my collection is that way...but I do have a few that pretty much stay on the hook. LOL
~B~
LMAO!!
I wish I had some that would stay on the hook. LOL!!!
I don't even think I have any small one that would.:violin:

I like the idea on the Scrub hooks. I mainly used a set of tongs and a hook for hook training, and feeding :p
A thought on the "interchangeable head" hook. Why not use a light, mild steel for the threads of each hook; and a hitch pin, or rubber tipped cotter pin to help lock it in place? Just an idea :p

That is a thought Andrew. I was going to try to stay way from an actual pin though, I figured being a travel hook there would probably be a fair amount people who would take it field herping, in which case having a pin that could get caught in the brush wouldn't be a good thing. Appreciate the suggestion though.

Hmmm, I was thinking of it from a captive use, point of view. I could definitely look into other useful thoughts for field work thought ;)
