Man I love black throats! I would get one but I have my mind set on tree monitors! I want to get a black tree and maybe a blue tree and green tree some day!

Wow hes a beauty I used to have a sav but I got him in really bad condition and a couple months later after trying treating him back to health he died idk how but it was a sad day :(

No problem he is a looker. Yea it kinda tromitized me but now I think I want to get back to monitors a little more see how I do.

What do you want to know? I've kept Varanids for 15 years consecutively and have owned 17 different Varanid species.

Personally ................... I do not suggest getting a tree monitor like a Beccari for a first or even a third time monitor. They are difficult to keep at times even for an experienced keeper. They have a lot of requirments compared to what people think.

I have never kept any at home but I get to work with a couple species like green trees, black trees, and of course Komodos! Here are some old pics of our Komodo.
