Do you feed live?, if so that is likely what its from, not uncommon to find scars and stuff on snakes that are fed live..

nope, he was fed live two times, and that was when i first got him, and i watched closely so the feeders wouldnt hurt him, these two scratches just popped up today, they werent there yesterday

Them ain't scratches....LOL

Those are the start of "Fat Rolls"

Boas will stay coiled up for hours in the same position, if they are slightly overweight it'll curl back the edges of the scales and make those small vertical lines....or as I like to call them "Fat Rolls" LOL

Not anything to worry about man.

LOL, Nah man....a couple here and there are just a bi-product of captivity, you'll never get rid of them all.

Now if you start seeing seeing them every couple inches......and the sides look bumpy...your snake is fat! LOL

He looks like he has very decent body tone, I wouldn't change a thing.

No problem.

Trust me you can definitely tell a "Fat" boa from a Pleasantly plump one....he's no where near that point.

It can happen man, I've got a buddy in Connecticut that has a female boa that is 25 years old and still going strong.
