New Babies!

Our first 2 eggs from Ra and Espresso have hatched, hope to have some photos up soon. One little baby threatened to eat the camera! These 2 have lots of pattern already, right out of the egg, how neat!!!

Any word on the "Frap" man pairing?

Actually I'm expecting his and Latte's first egg to hatch any day now! Today is day number 66 so sometime between now and day 75. I only think one of the first pair is going to hatch. The second egg is not looking so good. But that is Latte's first laying, so I'm just happy one looks viable. They're second laying is over a month from hatching. Both of those eggs look great. I should get a third laying from them within a week or two. Then they'll be seperated so they both can have a break.

In that last pic she's trying to eat the camera <G> it was actually the 1st in the sequence and she was MAD about having that big scary silver thing flashing at her and threatened to kick some tail! Pretty impressive for a kid as big as my thumbnail...

Yeah, that cracks me up, man! They have a tendancy to jump on peoples faces. Bet that would really make you like them. :p

But it's not all geckos you don't like right? Don't your kids have some leopard geckos? :)

I think those little guys are awesome. Sam and I were just discussing them last night. I think they have to coolest feet. I am considering getting for our son-he has 2 leos right now.

Yeah, their feet are cool. And another cool thing about them is they also have a sticky pad (lamellae) on the tips of their tails. They are neat geckos.

They are pretty cool. I like them because they are so handleable. I don't have much patience for really delicate creatures--I'm too clumsy and awkard and I want to hold them and mess with them...

They feel like velvet, or velour...and they are stout, so they don't feel fragile either. Many of ours will eat baby food from your fingertip--which is also pretty dang wild.
