well heres the other male iggy my mom had. he has gained 1/4 pound. since i changed his diet.
i’m still working on building a bigger cage for him. i just gotta finish getting it put together.

his diet now is:

collards, mustards.
acorn squash, butternut squah, papaya, parsnip.
green beans.
alfalfa powder.

he gets fed when i get home from work at 9 in the morning and i feed him at 2pm also. he eats like a pig and i let him eat all that he wants to.

his cage temps are.
94F basking.
85F in the middle of the cage.
81F at the bottom of the cage.
his humidity is 75.

he has a 3ft. 10.0 reptisun uvb/uva bulb 12 inches form him it’s on the inside of the cage. by his basking lights, i’m planning on putting another one in the lower half of the cage also.
he has a 13.11 light cycle.

i was gonna clean the food off his mouth and decided to take a few pics. so here they are.
also his spikes where almost all gone when i got him which was about 1 month ago. is there any way to get them healther again. i been putting mineral oil on them. you can also see what i think to be burns on his back. the vet said they wasn’t but everytime he sheds they come off a bit.

(oh and there is still food on his mouth in the pics lol)

Looking good!
I like the 3 tones he's got going....very fetching.

One suggestion, you should probably bump his basking spot up to 110 - 120F being a Herbivore they require that extra heat to completely digest all the greens.

Looks really good!!!

A suggestion from me would be to use the mercury vapor UV bulbs. Heat and UV in the same bulb. I use the T-Rex Active UV and have had trouble with the ZooMed ones. We use these bulbs on all of our displays at the zoo and I think it makes a real difference.
