Hey Lance,

I think you just mean "Venomous" there bro.

"Venomoids" are the ones that have been surgically altered and had their venom glands removed.

I don't know if it's just me, but I think that is kind of wrong. If someone wants a snake that doesn't have venom, they should get a Python or something.:suspicious:

Anyway, I'm happy to catch up with the little black venomous blokes that show up in my back yard from time to time.

It's not just you. I agree 100%. I know a lot of others out there do as well.

I 3rd that motion.

However I would make an allowence for persons who did a lot educational work and or shows for a couple of reasons. 1 liability towards the people that were watching and 2 it's hard enough to work those snakes without your attention being divided, and that would not make a very good exit if the show had to stopped early with yourself being hauled out on a stretcher...LOL

Oh don't get me started:tape2:!! I agree 150 %. For me there is no reason to ever do this to an animal. If you aren't good enough, responsible enough, and smart enough to handle the real deal, then go get yourself something that is harmless. Quite frankly it makes me furious:mad::mad::mad::mad:!!! I'll stop...sorry for the OT.

We were at a show where that actually happened. The poor bloke was bitten by his Eastern Brown just after he was telling everyone that he hasn't been bitten in over twenty years.
