Hi guys, i'm new to this site. Thought i'd post some pics of my Beardie. I had an iguana once when i was younger but had to get rid of it. Sorry don't have any pics of him. I think i'll just stick with Joey for awhile before i go with anything else. Joey heres got a pretty colour red going now, i'll try an get some pics right after a shed.

Good looking Dragon there!

Iguanas are neat but it's one of those lizards you shouldn't get if you don't have the space.....being as you are looking at a 5 to 7 foot lizard (tail length included) you really almost need a small room to house them in comfortably.

Nice beardie!!

I'm with Brad on the iguana. There are so many really interesting lizards that would require much less space that I would look into something else. But if you are set on getting one and can provide the space, I would look into something like a rhino iguana. More expensive but IMO a much neater lizard.

What do you mean by a rhino being a much neater iguana? my green iguana didn't seem to be to messy, he was very agressive (which is probably why i was forced to get rid of him, grrrrrrrr, moms suck, hehehe) but i don't remember him being to messy.

I believe what MCEM was trying to state is the Rhino Iguanas are "Neater" in the fact that they aren't commonly kept.....and may make a little more interesting captive....pretty sure he wasn't commenting on how they messy they are or are not. LOL

hahahahaha, good call. next time i'll think a little harder before i question. talk about feeling dumb. i looked at some pics of rhinos, i see where they get their name from. they look absolutley HUGE!!!!! green iguanas don't look nearly as big.

They do tend to be a little more "blocky" looking but they are still around the same size as Greens. Some of them have a neat blue/gray tint color to them....all in all, they are a pretty cool lizard.

LOL...sorry I didn't mean less messy. I should've been more clear! I just like rhinos much more because of color and body shape (and since they are less common).
