Vet open day

Our local vet is having an open day today and they have promoted it with having a snake display. If it is any good I'll try to get a few pix.:photo:

It was a bit of fun, but nothing big. One of the girls that worked there brought her pet Children's Python and baby Bearded Dragon. It was handy for me to know that they are now qualified to treat reptiles, they are only minutes from my house.

There was a display for the local wildlife protection agency that rescue injured animals. I had to call on them in the past, once I clobbered a Koala that stepped out in front of me as I was riding my motorbike (lucky I didn't come off) and another time when a Wallaby went under the back wheel of my bike and came out second best. They explained about how they are looking for carers for injured bats and how lovable they are once you get to know them.:31:
