if it is still that color after the first shed I will then make up my mind but most albinos come out of the egg with a purple hue to them hell our normals last year looked kind of purple fresh out of the egg..... I mean they are great looking labs but "New morph" I don't know time will tell, and for it to be a new morph doesn't it have to be proven out? Just my thoughts:cool:

I'm usually one to try and be politically correct....... and I will be in parts of this post. But to put it plainly........................................... ....
Crock o' poo folks. :der:
There's been more than one person claim they have 'lavender' albino burmese. And have claimed it to be a 'new' morph, etc, etc. As mentioned, MANY times hatchling albino burms have a lavender background, no matter what combination along with the albino gene. Heck I've hatched some out myself as well as some friends of mine. And each and every time they lose the lavender as they grow and shed. There is NOT a true 'lavender' albino anything in burmese pythons.
Here's the kicker to this wonderful new morph folks.............. How does one derive a NEW morph from using the common morphs that have been bred for years????? They dont!!!!!!! You cannot produce a new morph just from breeding two parents from todays common and well established morphs, it just doesn't happen that way.
And to throw in the tag 'fader' is even more of a crock. There has only been one breeding involving the albino gene and the fader gene...... labyrinth was never in that mix. I was directly involved in that project at one time. So that is just a sales tactic plain and simple. Its just a name used to draw interest. As a matter of fact, the fader gene itself has yet to br proven out.
So we have common albino labs, albeit neat ones being misrepresented as something they are not and will not prove out to be. Some may think I'm being brash or rude, but I can't stand when someone does this sort of thing. It hurts the hobby and rips people off.
We dont even have to mention the sellers reputation..... I know folks personally who know first hand of similar cases of misrepresentation from this seller. As well as other quite disturbing accounts/events involving them.
Unfortunately not every buyer hears or see's or knows everything they need to know before purchasing an animal. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen with the animals posted in the link in this thread.
And please, noone take personal offense to what i posted. It was not directed at any member here. Or directed at anything anyone posted. It dircted at the subject of the animals posted. :)

I don't think anyone is going to get offended by your posting of this information. Your one of the few people out there that is qualifiedly to make these statements.
I'm glad there is someone out there like yourself that will try and teach people this stuff.
As far as the snake goes, I missed the add. It has been removed, or ended. :(

Aint it.....
Seven, or eight years ago is when I bought my firsy "big snake" from Bob, I wasnt sure what it was. Meaning I havent seen hardly any baby albino burms at all at this time, only large ones like at zoos.
Anyways, I choose a baby albino burm as my first to buy, and guess what folks....thats right he had a lil sexy, lavender hue thingy going on. Bob, didnt charge me extra for it, so evidently the lavender thing in the lil ones didnt mean shit. If it did, I'm sure he would have charged me more than he did...
I have an old book here titled " Boas & Pythons breeding and care" and there are a couple pics of lil albino burms with the lavender color to them...
Jim "HOLLYWOOD" Mason aka SEXY THICKNESS pretty much did a hell of a job summin up all of this bs. I just wanted to put my lil bit of input about the lavender shit....LMAO
I'm just sayin if you dont start laughin out loud after reading that ad, then you dont know what funny is.....
AINT IT.....:)
