sweet dude, thats cool, i cant wait until my daughter is old enough to handle snakes, i hope mine is trustworthy enough by then, because right now, i would not let her handle him, i never know when he's going to bite, so i just prepare for it all the time, my gf wont even hold him anymore

It is always a good thing to start them off young. Very cool.

Neat picture. You can never start them out too young. I have a picture of my oldest son with a big ol' burm when he was about a year or so old. It is pretty neat to look back since he is now 24. All my kids grew up with reptiles, but only one inherited the herper gene. I guess he was het for herper.

LOL....well I do kind of hope she wants to pick up where I left off, time will tell but everyone must follow their own path.

Awesome to see this- she's lovely & I'm glad to see her doing so well with the snake. You're a good daddy! My dad taught me about herps when I was young too, it makes all the difference.

Thank you!

I was rather surprised at how she did, I've seen a lot of kids get all worked up and "grabby" with stuff like this....but she really doesn't.

LOL....yeah ma would read her books like "spot" and "Dr.Suess"......but when Dad is around you know what we read? Articals from reptiles magazine....in fact the first book I ever read her was that one on "Giant Snakes" ...LOL

Oh those were the days. Just last year my daughter gave a presentation reticulated pythons at school for a class project. It was her last year of HS and asked if I would mind bringing Twiggy and a few others for her to talk about. Here my daughter is only about 100 pounds and she is steering Twiggy around a class room. I've been bringing reptiles to schools since my 23 year old son was in kindergarten. It gave me great pleasure to see my kids explain about their requirements, care, and answering questions. Your daughter will too in time.
