I got my new Animal Plastics stackables in yesterday and put them together and sealed them. Today (after the sealant dried) I wiped them down good and set them up (heat cables on thermostat, lighting on timer) and put the gravid girl and the hopefully-soon-to-be-gravid girl in them. I love them! I now have 3 tanks where there used to be one! And I get my kitchen table back! Plus, better lighting and humdity! These cages rock! I highly reccommend them to anyone!

First step: Get Azrielle (normal gravid girl) in her new tank (and she did a little of her own rearranging ;)):

Step two: Get Chloe (other normal girl, not yet ovulated) into her new tank:

Step three: Clean out Chloe's old tank, put Tryton (normal male) in it:

Step four: Clean out Azrielle's old tank and put the '06 het albino male in it:

Step five: Clean out Alchemy's ('06 het albino male) tank and put Algol ('07 het albino male) in it:

Step six: FINALLY REST!!!!

But I'm glad to have this new setup. This certainly looks better!

These 3 tanks are the ones where one tank used to be . . . so much nicer!

Thanks for putting up with my ramblings! ;)

Very nice! I love my AP racks. I am going to have to get me a few stackables for my burms, especially since I am getting a new one soon.............

Thanks Chuck! I have an AP rack for my hatchlings as well. In fact, it's because of it that I decided to go back to AP for my stackables. They have such great customer service and high quality products. And their prices are reasonable as well. Plus, they are the ones with the closest cage dimensions I was looking for without charging an arm and a leg for it.

Thanks to all for the comments on the cages and the snakes and the breeding! Much appreciated! And yep, the snakes are very happy. My gravid girl just kept exploring her new surroundings when I got her in there!

I plan to buy more of those AP stackable cages in the future, but 2 of them is all I could afford right now, and I put my biggest snakes in them. Eventually, I want to have 8-10 of those cages and keep all sub-adults to adults in them, but that will come in time! ;) Of course, one day I might have more than 8-10 adult snakes, so I may have to rethink even that plan!

Lookin' good Pam!! I'm sure the snakes love 'em!! I love my AP cages...hold heat and humidity really well though I don't like the heat cable they come with.

Thanks Matt!

And yep, I've found out just in the last few days how much better they hold the humidity! ;) I'm hoping it will help out my girl that seems to have bad sheds no matter what . . . it may not but I'm crossing my fingers anyway! ;) One day I'm gonna get stackables for all of them, though. Already have an AP rack for all the babies, just need those stackables for the adults!

are those the 3 footers? I have a stack of 3 of the 6 foot ap cages and I also have a rack from them also and I love them. My vision cages have all warped very badly but the ap has held its ground. Very goood strong cages.

Yep, they are 3 ft X 2 ft X 1 ft. I really loved the rack that I got from AP, but I wanted something larger for the adults to go in as I'm not a huge fan of racks for adults. My previous experience with AP (as far as customer service and the quality of the product) really made my decision for me on getting my stackables from them too.
