After some careful researching, designing, and planning, I've come up with a good plan design for extreme fossorial Tarantulas, such as Citharischius crawshayi, Haplopelma minax, and others. From what I've read, the biggest problem with breeding the King Baboon has been with burrow depth....nobody has been able to provide a suitable burrow, or substrate depth for them. This "should" help. I've received help from a few breeders in picking the suitable dimensions. Hopefully I could get a few of these set up myself :D I figured there'd be no harm in sharing for those that want to build some themselves.

Nice design man....I'll be looking forward to seeing it come together.

Where you planning on going with Acrylic or Polycarbonite?

I'm going with Acrylic due to its strength, and weight vs. other materials as well as visibility. I should be starting it up within the next few months :D I have a saltwater tank planned out with some tubing for the fish to travel from box to box :D I'm looking into designing some turtle tanks too :p

Yeah I was gonna say Polycarbonate tends to be a little brittle in the sheet form, can be a real pain to work too.

Sounds like plan man.....shoot some pics up when you get her going, love seing what other people come up with.
