New Halmahera Python!

I just got in this male Halmahera Python (Morelia tracyae). I am really excited to be working with this species. They are somewhat of a mystery still on how to keep them alive and breed them. Most imports don't live very long in captivity and they haven't beed bred in captivity at all. I should have a few more coming in before too long and I'll get to try my hand at them. One cool thing about them is that they are the closest relative to Boelen's pythons. I'll get better pics as he settles in more.

Well now, that's one of the better ones I've seen....normally they don't look as good as that one...well least IMO....cool looking one though!

Yep, this is the one Tom sent me. I've got a few other friends that are going to be sending me some others as well. So I should have a nice small group of them.
