I don't know what to say. I like the GTP's a little better myself, but it's all about your personal preference. Whatever makes you happy, bro!

That's a really nice looking moluccan. I say go for it. Chondros are boring. All they do is sit on a branch. Scrubs are a lot more fun. I've got about 15 scrubs and looking at getting several more soon. Here's some info on how to care for them.

I keep all of my moluccans at an ambient temp of 82 with a hot spot of 90. For young ones I would keep them in tubs as this helps keep the humidity up so they don't have trouble shedding. As far as caging, It looks like that guy would fit nicely into a sweaterbox . I would give him some sort of perch and a hide box as he will use both pretty frequently. When he is an adult a 4x2x2 cage should be plenty. Moluccans tend to stay under 10' but can reach 12' if you feed the crap out of them (which I don't suggest). If you have any other questions about them let me know. I am working with several of that species. Also, could you give me a link to the guys ad? There are a few localities I need to find mates forand just want to see if they are selling any of those. Thanks.

Thats a tuff one but if you have more then 1 GTP then if you trade 1 for it you would still have another GTP and a new snake that you dont have.. I dont think there is any question GTPs are alot more beutiful but sounds like a big scrub python might be intresting lol..

I'm with Blake!

Don't get me wrong GTPs are neat but with the color on that one......very nice! Personally I like Scrubs better so yeah I'd snag that deal in a heartbeat...LOL

But it really boils down to personal preference.....you are the one who has to keep it and look at it.

What other stuff is the guy looking for? If you decide not to go for it shoot me his info. cause I feel need to deal! LOL

Certainly true in Scrubs...they are one of the ass-backwards ones where the Males actually get quite a bit larger than females.

Jason took the words right outta my mouth. Give it a shot... they might not have the bright colors but they are more active and interesting in my opinion

Mollucans don't get that big anyway man....at 5 feet that male is probably pretty close to topped out, they are one of the smaller locals.
