I've used it with snakes in the past.
Not sure if I would with lizards....impact issues I can see.

Oh soo for snakes its ok?
Is it ok if I feed outside the cage?
Will it mold fast? Does it hold humidity?

To tell you the truth I didn't much care for it with the snakes either....it works, but they always had this gray looking "dust" clinging to them when I took them out which is why I went back to various barks....they always looked so dirty with that type of substrate.
As for Humidity....ehhhhh yeah is kind of holds it well, but it will also get soggy and squishy easily...personally there were more bad things than good.

I don't like it. It's not "un-healthy" except that it's a little dusty and messy. I used it once at the shop in a huge case we had a big burmese in and it was always getting pulled out of the cage and onto the floor when we took the snake out.
And... it's not cheap. There are too many other choices that cost way less to make carefresh an option for me

If you want an alternative bedding that is not bark chips or paper you could try the stuff Ben Renick is trying. He said it's called Diamond Soft. I have been looking at it, but haven't tried anything yet. I am pretty happy with my fir bark chips I am useing and my aspin.

It's a "hardwood" type pulp....I've used it with Sandboas off and on, works okay...but damn expensive with all the snakes I have...LOL

Oh yes it is pretty cool but freaking expensive!!!
I spent 20$$ on a 4lb bag!!!
I was enought to fill up some tanks but still should have at least another pound!
