Heck I wish we had room for horses. I keep them at a boarding stable clear on the other side of town. We looked for a place with room for horses but nothing we liked was available. :)

Nice horses! My favorite has always been the friesans.(sp?) To thoes who don't know what a friesan is, it is the horse in the movie Lady Hawk. Also in the middle ages it is what the knights rode. Their mane will grow so long that you have to flip it from one side to the other every day or it can damage their neck. I know this because I used to work at a farm that had 2 of them. They are awesome animals!
Anyway you have some good lookin horses!

If I had the money and the space I would have one.(freisans) My brother has 18 horses but the only bad thing about that is he lives out of state so I could not keep my Freisan there.:(

Nice horses!!! I too love horses. I actually volunteer doing hippotherapy once a week locally here. They have some great horses and its nice to work with them as well as the students. I have been there on and off for about 7 years now and my favorite horse is a shire cross named Latino. He is the most laid back horse ever. Bomb proof isn't even the word. Nothing phases this horse and he just loves everyone. He can be a bit on the lazy side, but he is just priceless to the program. Attached is a pic of him, which doesn't begin to show how nice he is in person. If they were ever getting rid of him I would probably sell off my whole reptile collection to have him, and thats saying a lot, believe me. I've been lucky enough to be paired up with him again this past year and its been great. Anyways sorry for the rambling, but as I said you do have some nice horses. Board is expensive here and so is everything else, Connecticut sucks if your not rich! Someday... Dan M.

He is very pretty! Board for horses isn't too bad where I have my horses at. $120 per month per horse for full care. My mom pays for one horse and I pay for my colt. Feed now, that's gone up drastically. $9.50 for a bale of alfalfa and $8.50 for the grain. For my colt we go through about 7 bales of alfalfa and 4 bags of grain a month. Plus they are clear on the other side of town from me and with gas prices as high as they are I only get to see the horses once or twice a month. It sucks. I wouldn't mind having a Freisian some day. They are awesome horses.
