Here's my first snake, Monty. He was a rescue from a friend, whose little brother was no longer taking good care of him. You can see the scars in one picture from when they left a live rat in the enclosure with him...poor fellow. They also had him in a cage that houses my almost grown milksnake....much too small. At any rate, he's doing fabulous now, goes off feed in the winter, but is fat and happy anyway.

Beautiful snake! I love the gold stripe on his neck. Hate to see that scar, but glad to know he's being well taken-care of now! ;)
