I just picked up this new girl today. Most AfRocks hatch around 14-16" long....this girl hatched at an amazing 26.5" long!!! :O She's jubungous! Here she is! She is in blue though. Enjoy!-

Nice!!! As everyone knows I am a big rock fan. I am still waiting to see if im getting het patternless eggs this year...female is in shed now....keeping my fingers crossed that its a pre-lay. Anyways I also can not wait for some pics once she sheds. If you ever need to get rid of her look no further, my male patternless would love to meet her in a few years! Glad to see others who love rocks! Dan M.

I'll be getting a Patternless male if Jay doesn't sell them all.

Sorry to hear about the fire....sucks! Thats always been a fear of mine. I got mine(patternless) from Patrick at prehistoric when he was there and they had quite a few adults/sub adults. Im not sure if they were still breeding these guys or not, but who knows. I am really pleased with mine, he is an absolutely evil snake, but hes gorgeous and bred for me this year which is all I really needed from him. I could do without the 47 strikes at my face everytime he comes out, but hey what can you do. It seems to be a personal thing for me to as other people can pick him right up. When I first got him though he hit the glass hard and punched his teeth thru his own lips and of course I had to fix that, so I think he still blames me for that, because ever since that day he hates me, and prior we were ok together. Last night wasnt bad though. I took him out of his cage and put him in the bucket to clean him and I think he only went for me maybe 15 times in and out, which is pretty low for him lol. The good news is he is 0 for about 952, but one day im sure i'll slip up a bit and let him get on the board(especially now that he is approaching 10 feet and that strike range gets bigger and bigger). If you are interested in any het patternlesses(if the female lays) let me know. I know what its like to rebuild, so I'd love to help out if I could. Good luck with her, and keep us updated, there are too few who keep rocks(which sometimes I think is a good thing). Dan M.

Here is a couple pics of the patternless if you missed it on the thread:

Most were Patternless, but I had some weird/oddball dinkers all over the place. I appreciate the offer as well. Patrick was who I dealt with directly when I bought my male Abberant/Twin stripe from them back last year. He's a cool guy to deal with. Jay doesn't breed AfRocks anymore (PP), and neither does Bob Clark. Jays actually selling out all of his animals but one pair, and just hanging onto that in the event their popularity picks up.

I'll have to check out what PP has left. I also thought Patrick was great to deal with before, during and after the sale. I was hoping that this female would lay a nice clutch and I could take that revenue and invest it in a patternless female from them. When I got my male he was the nicest they had(looks wise) and the pictures don't show how stunning he is(or should I say Striking!). Well if she does lay there will be a photo thread, especially trying to get the eggs away from a 130+lb rock female. She is sweet as can be, but those are usually the ones that turn evil when they have eggs. If she does lay that offer will stand, so just pm me if you are interested and we can discuss details. Like I said I am rebuilding too, for different reasons, and it sucks. Its fun getting new stuff, but it always makes me miss the others even more. On the dinker subject I had a dinker that am convinced is het for something, just not sure what(really thought for albino...had that bright gold striping like a het albino burm). I had to sell him when I sold all of my stuff, but the guy who has him now plans to breed him when he has some females to dedicate to him and see whats going on there. Anyways im gonna go check out what PP has left and pretend I have money to waste. Hopefully she grows up nice and quick for you into a big beautiful girl! Dan M.

Thanks a ton :) Patrick is a good guy to deal with. I still talk to him from time to time, when I can catch him online.

Speaking of dinkers....I had a girl I picked up in trade that started turning green. After around 5 months total, she was a complete mossy green mottled color with no pattern other than her spearpoint. She wound up dying in the fire. I wish I could've bred her.

Wow I would of liked to seen pics of her!
Very nice afrocks!
Maybe one day when I have the patience to get striked at 100 times a day I will own a afrock. :D
