Well as mentioned in a previous thread, this site has a very neat little deal about being able to ship legally without going through all hassle of becoming verified through FedEx....not only that but it comes with perks! LOL

The actual shipping part should be up and running by tonight or tommarrow, but basically speaking you join up, watch a video, and then can order FREE shipping boxes to be used through thier sites FedEx account, not only that but they throw you and extra 20% discount on the actual shipping service through the site. It's definitely the way to go...in fact I don't think I'll even bother with my verified account since I can get free shipping boxes and a 20% discount through these guys.

To good to be true? Yeah I thought so too so I called the owner Dave, and had a nice chat with him, he's definitely got his ducks in a row and everything looks clean and level, the the process sounds simple enough and should be a great asset to any of the small breeder/hobbiests and probably some of the big ones too.

At this point in time it would definitely be worth it for people to check out.

I hope everyone gets some good out of it . . . and I didn't know you actually called the guy, Brad! But seriously, when everything they are working on is finished and up and running, I think the site will be awesome! It will really help out us small breeders, and give perks to the big breeders too.

I let Brad in on this one and well I am glad he made this thread.
I have been using the Reptster-Fed-Ex shipping for the last few weeks and it has saved the people that have bought animals from me 20% on their shipping.I know because I checked the price first through Fed-Ex and then checked through Reptster on only one has it not helped enough to make the sale that was a coast to coast shipment from as to California. But if I was the customer I would have went elsewhere too it was quite pricy but still cheaper than it would have been without the Reptster portal.

David Young has done the hobby a great service.
I have spoken to him over the phone many times and he is more than willing to help you in anyway he can.
I just ordered my second batch of boxes(for free).
And I plan on continuing to do so.

Just wondering if anyone had heard that UPS is also supposed to be "getting on board" with this thing. Yes, I know, UPS does not accept live reptile shipments . . . until now. They will only accept them through Reptster. The details aren't all confirmed yet, so UPS isn't quite an option at present, but it is coming. Apparently, UPS saw how much money FedEx was making on this deal and wanted in too. ;) Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop with what's going on over there!

UPS actually does do live shipments if you have a store front....I guess I'm not all that surprised though, FedEx and UPS have always been direct competators...if it works for one the others follow suit pretty quickly.

It is in the works now.I am sure it will take a little while to work the details out.I mean it took Reptster(David Young) a year to hash out all the details with Fed-Ex.
