well i'm getting tired of wood cages. i'm looking into buying some cages from animalplastics. does anyone have any cages from them? are they good decent cages? i don't wanna spend the money and then the cages be crap.

thanks all!!

they're pretty good cages. I like the visions too. I would try a WANTED ad online for cages. I've bought most of my cages used for about half the price of getting them new.

Got some second hand APs here recently....Fantastic craftmanship....if I didn't build my own that is where I would be buying them from.

I have an AP cage and intend to purchase more this coming fall as it seems my collection is growing a lot faster than expected. I have no complaints with the cages and will say that they hold humidity very well for my purposes. They are also extremely easy to put together and the hardest part is waiting for the sealant to dry before using them. Hope this helps.

thanks guys! yeah i kinda was looking at used ones also but so far i've only seen small 4ft ones and the first ones i'm buying are for my burms and boas so i'm looking for 8 footers and 6 footers. hopefully i run accross some big ones on kingsnake or something.

I've got APs, Boaphiles, Visions, Neodeshas, and a couple other similar no-name cages and the APs are my favorite. They hold heat and humidity extremely well...I just don't like the heat cable on these, heat is very uneven. I should've fork out the extra cash and heated with radiant heat panels.

Both of the AP products I have are awesome! I have one hatchling rack and 2 stackables. When I can afford more stackables, I want to wind up with about 8-9 of them, all from AP. ;)

You still can. I have heat panels in all of my AP's and the gradient is amazing. I have basking shelfs in mine and I have temps from 95 - 80 at all times. I have recorded 6 diff temp zones at one time in the cage. If you order them they are easy to install. I have some pics of the fittings if you would like to see them. Helix controls and a heat panel are the way to go. Well worth the extra loot!
