Just like anyone relatively to keeping snakes(a little over 2 years with burms) i am always wondering whether what i am doing is right even tho i have asked over and over. over the years things have changed with husbandry saying this is right then saying oh no wait it is wrong.

i have my room temp at 84-86 day time temps and 80(that is really low for me...)-84 at night. the humidity is always around 55%. i know these are temps that are close to other peoples and this is pretty much what i read. does anybody have anything else they do with theirs? do some of you keep larger snakes at different temps that small ones?

i know that jim has mentioned something about not dropping temps so low during breeding season and i know of other people that have had snakes lock up in the middle of their living room. even with this breeding season having just gone by i didnt really hear anyone mention anything about temps. has this become a thing of the past?

I keep my young pythons at two degrees higher then my adults which is a 90 degree hot, ambient 85 - 87 and cool is around 78-80. I don't use whole room temperature control because of the little snakes and the monitors.

I keep the room between 75 and 80 and let the thermostats take care of the rest
