My albino het granite shred recently, and I looked closely at her and she has a few sores. I checked up close for mites and I have not seen any. Could this be from her rubbing on something? I've been keeping her tank very clean and using Sam's listerine cleaning method.

She is in a large container but she shares it with another female. They will be separated very soon. They do not fight, but I have another big tank being build at the moment. I'd just rather them have more room. As it is, I take them out about 4-5 times a week to stretch out and move a bit with more space. The female who shares the container with her has NO sores, or markings.

Some feedback is much appreciated. The temps are 75 F in the cool end and 93 F in the hot end. She is eating very well and always eats when given food. She is about 1.5-1.75 years old and she is 7.5' long.

Thanks for looking guys. If you have any questions please ask.

Internal paracites? Or burns?

it looks like to me scrapes and rubs I would bring your cool side up to around 80 and seperate the two they may not be able to share the warm side so she may be trying to escape.

Definitely scrapes...my albino female retic likes to wedge herself betweenone of the boards on shelf, gets herself scraped up in the process....shows up like a sore thumb on albinos...if it was a normal colored snake I doubt you would've noticed. LOL Anyway it'll go away on the next shed...but it definitely looks like it's rubbing up against something in there.

if you can see any place in the cage that looks rough and accessable to her I would try to cover the area with something soft like foam. The stuff used for fiilling cracks in and for insulation walls that comes in a spray can works well, just make sure it cures completely before putting the snake back in.
