I recently picked up a pair of tigers. The female is an early 04 and the male is an early 05. The female is 10-11foot and the male is 9-10foot. Are they big enough to breed or should i hold off. not sure about the size tics should be to be able to breed.

Well they are certainly old enough.....if she's anything like my female she'll let you know when she's ready to go....mine goes off feed for about 8 weeks and get's really "Restless".
What's her girth look like? It's really the female that you have to worry about Males pretty just breed...LOL

Guru basically stated it. Female retics will breed when they will like it. They are not predictable as burms and others. Manyt imes they can be of size and age and have no interest in breeding. Many folks have purchased adults thinking they are gonna get a return the first year(in no way saying you did this Ryan, just saying). Just learn her tendancies and typical actions. When something is different or her actions cahnge she could be coming in.
Retics: It's not when you get them to breed, its when THEY decide they want to breed! LMFAO!

Well, i bought them from a buddy who has had them since they were babies and so i know how the care they have had has been. He did plan on breeding them but he actually just lost his house due to a fire and was needing cash and a place for his tics. he asked me if i wanted to buy them and gave me a pretty good price so i couldnt say no, lol. I was just curious if they were big enough. I might just wait and put some more size on them and try breeding in march or april. Im more worried about the health of the snakes than any kind of money off them at this point. Not wanting to rush them and cause them health problems in the future.
The female actually has some pretty good girth on her. The male isnt quite as big but still pretty plump lol.

It's all good bro. No explanation was needed, but appreciated none the less.. Hey if either helping someone out or coming across a deal. Sometimes its possible to add good healthy tics!
