Musk is not like wine

Well musk unlike wine does not get better with age.It get's worse a lot worse.And more plentiful

I was cleaning Trinity's cage and well she must have thought it would be funny to soak me with musk and let me tell you this right now I would much rather be MUSKED by a baby then an adult anyday.
Adult musk smells so much worse and like I said so much more I am soaked.

Boy aint that the truth. Julius hasn't musked me in years, thank gawd, cos the last time she did it was just horrid. I can only imagine it's gotten worse as she's aged!

A couple of weeks ago, I pulled Roxy out to clean her cage. I was letting her roam the floor while cleaning; the usual routine. When I was done I went to pick her up and she freaked. I had musk all over me, the ceiling, the walls, the floor, it was just f-ing nasty! It took me about an hour to clean up the house. Thank God I was in a tiled area and not over carpet. It took a couple of showers and some time before I smelled like me again.

I agree! Much nicer when it's a little one that gets ya!:D

Funny that I found this thread this morning. I just got it again from an eight footer. Cleaning cages and she is in shed. I woke her up with the hook first, but grabbed her from the back end and got a nice gift!:eek:

I havent got it in a couple of weeks. Cheese gets me about every other month but at least he stopped bitting. It is crazy how well they can aim that stuff.

Oh Theresa, he took the rabbit by the ear today. It was the first time he didnt it for me. It is so weird...he really just gets the ear and no head. I always thought he would strike the head around the ears but no, it was all ear... lol

When we picked up our Macklott's from the rescue place the lady said that the male was musking. The male and female were both together so to me it could've been either one.

All I know is it took over a week to get the smell out of my car. And that's with keeping the windows down almost all the time. OMG!
