Scott had a damn good idea! So I took it to the next level. Here's a way everyone can have a Ultra-Light hook for cheap! You've heard of "Kit Cars" well how about "Kit Hooks"? So here's the deal I'll ship you the the pre-bent hookend and Non-slip grip with instructions on how to assemble the hook (litterly takes about 10 min) Everything else can found at Wal-mart or Home repair shops.
Now since Scott was the one who kicked this idea off he'll be recieving his kit for free....so Scott when you see this, shoot me your address and I'll get that shipped out to you.

As you'll see in the picture I made a slight alteration by adding a wooden dowel to the inside of the shaft....strengthens it up about 10 fold.
