What is the best way to ship out a large Monitor Lizard? I have ran across a guy that wants my 6 Feet long Albigularis Monitor and I am not sure what is the best way to ship and the cost associated for this as well?

Thank you,
Charlie

Your probably going to want to look into Delta Air (Airport to Airport)

Guessing it's going to run you around $75-$100+ depending on where it's going.

I agree with Brad-Delta is probably going to be your best way to go.

Cool thanks for the replies. I am going to ship out my monitor tomorrow. I just hope I can get a box big enough. I am sad to say that I have to sell my monitor but he will have a better home... The guy that is buying him has 4 female black throats, so my monitor should be very happy. Does anyone know of a guy named Andrew Llewellyn in Philly, PA area??

I've found that most people are, there's only a small percentage of weesles out there.

Good luck man, I'm sure everything will turn out fine!

Thanks Brad, The guy was legit, I did get my money and on this past Friday, he let me know that my monitor ripped through the Insulation and box while they were landing in Philly. Then he got him to walk on a harness and leash *he would not even let me attempt to put him on a leash*... I guess he is totally happy being around other monitors now. Maybe I will get a pair of his babies next year...

That's great man! I'm glad it worked out for you!

Yeah Big Monitors can make short work of stuff like that, LOL

My big male water demolished his shipping crate when I bought him. He was VERY well packed and his solid wood box was strong as shit. He still ripped apart all the insulation and a good percentage of the wood. He loosened the walls of the box so much that it wobbled whenever he moved. He did something similar when I drove him up to PA. I've since learned to double everything when dealing with the big ones.
