It was brought to our attention that an adoption type forum would be a good idea. We agree. So We'll give it a trial run here and see how it works out.

Rules and Regulations for this forum:

1. MRP Owners/Administrators are NOT liable for any adoption issues you the adopter or provider incur from any deal made here. It is between you and the person you are adopting from. That said please act in a professional manner towards eachother (Not going to be a problem here I'm pretty sure).

2. Any and all animals placed here are for ADOPTION ONLY! The only price tags I expect to see are for shipping costs ONLY. If an "Adoption Fee" or Mention of a "Fee" is posted your thread will be immediately deleted and you will be warned 1 time. If you fail to heed this single and ONLY warning you will be locked out of the adoption forum forever more. NO EXCEPTIONS!

If you wish to attach a fee to animal there is a classifieds section available.

3. Questions and comments towards the animals posted here will be welcomed. However due to the nature of this forum please refrain from things such as "Good lord that thing is underweight" ...."Ohhhh the poor thing" ect. ect. This forum is geared for finding homes for whatever is posted regardless of previous circumstances, please direct your lines of Comments/Questions in that direction.

4. There will be no "Bashing" and/or "Bantering" allowed on this board. Again keeping with a professional manner it is here for animals sake. The 1 warning rule applies to rule #4 as well. (If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all).

5. Once a posted adoption animal has been adopted out PLEASE make a post on your thread saying that the animal is "No Longer Available" I will cleanup the posts periodically and this will let me know that the animal(s) have found new homes and the post is no longer needed.

Those of you who know me, also know I have low tolerance for stupidity and being tested, I will follow through on the enforcements of these rules and when I say "Forever" I mean "Forever".

Legal crap out of the way I believe this will an invaluable addition to our forum and see great potential for this. In fact I am going to to contact my local herpetological society and see if I can help place animals from them through this board as well, since I know they have had a great influx as of late.

Thank you all!

My thoughts exactly....while I can see a fee being attached in some cases such as through societies, or actual adoption centers, non-profit orangizations ect. It shouldn't be the case with private parties.

I think it's a great opportunity to find/place animals who need new homes.

(I won't even get in on the adoption fee business, since I know what that covers in dogs...)

So good luck reptiles! Good thing there's repster <G>.
