Ok,
Everyone here knows RodentPro is one of the best food providers for our business. But I am continually impressed me my experiences as well as my reports from others. Here are some pics of my recent shipment. Full box byt the way. 127 bucks. 30 XL rats 100 Adult mice. At my local shop that would have been 400 bucks.... Nice savings for me. At least here.....

I have looked into rodent pro but the shipping costs make it more expensive than going to the pet shop unless I buy more than like 6 months worth of food. There prices are excellent I just wished I lived close enough to pick up an order.

100.00 worth of food would cost me 150.00 to ship to michigan lol their shipping cost just doesnt work however americanrodent.com has free shipping on anything over 100.00 so for me i can easily spend a 100.00 at a time. americanrodent.com is number one in my book and i have a local rabbit supplier for my burm i pay 6.00 a rabbit.

I hear you on that. I call Casey and place my order of 20 or so rabbits 100 or so rats and pick them up at the show in Cleveland. They are packaged and ready to go. I dont even have to go in the show if I dont want to.

We buy all of our rats from Rodent Pro. They have great customer service as well. We ran into a problem with shipping were they didn't put enough dry ice in the box for Florida heat and our order was defrosted when it got here. They shipped us out a replacement order no problem all it took was a call from Lori to let them know what had happened.

They weren't coming to any show in Houston so I finally placed my first order with them. Even with the shipping it still came out much cheaper than buying the frozen 3-pks from Petco.
We just fed all the snakes this weekend and they all ate the F/T except for Kaa again. He's being really picky. I can warm it up under the faucet and wiggle it - he'll strike it, squeeze it, check it out and then turn away from it. He's being so stubborn.
I'm going to try a mouse and see if maybe he's a little intimidated by a small rat. Body-size-wise a small rat isn't too big but maybe to him it is.

Since the Reptile Expo got canceled I guess its a good thing we had our order shipped. The box showed up today.
Unfortunately UPS decided to make it one of the last deliveries of the day. Hubby was trying to get off early from work to avoid the evacuation traffic. But it wasn't too bad. I left work at noon and traffic was like normal rush hour. I don't think near as many people evacated as they planned. But when Ike roars thru some of them are going to wish they had. We're getting up early in the AM to board up the windows. We're slated to get winds 80-110 mph so we aren't taking any chances. Everything outside either comes in or we secure it.
We put the mice and rats in the freezer (I set aside a couple of shelves for them) and even thru the bag you could see they looked better than the frozen rodents you get at Petco. We'll give the snakes some of them after Ike is gone. He's getting to be a royal pain in the neck!
In fact, if ya'll don't hear from me for a couple days, it'll be because we lose our power. That'll suck!

I usually buy rats, rabbits and other stuff from Rodent pro. I just wish they would carry pigs as well!

As soon as I pick up a chest freezer to store it all, I would love to order from rodent pro, even with shipping their med rats come out to about half the cost for what I can get them anywhere close to me. Maybe I will check out american rodent too, though.
